Dr. Susan Catt, MD, FACOG
Dr. Susan Catt attended Illinois State University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then attended Mennonite College of Nursing and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. At this time she worked as an adolescent substance abuse nurse and was also deputy coroner in McLean County. She then received her Master’s degree in nursing from the Mennonite College of Nursing. From there Dr. Catt went on to enroll in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Illinois State University. She worked as an APN for three years prior to starting medical school. She earned her medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Having advanced nursing training as well as a medical degree, this allows Dr. Catt to provide a unique and comprehensive level of care to her patients. Dr. Catt provides obstetrical care, sexual transmitted disease screening, menopausal management, sexual dysfunction, well woman exams for women of all ages, gynecological procedures and surgical intervention when indicated. Dr. Catt is also very passionate and has extensive experience in treating infertility patients. She provides consultation and management for infertility patients in need of oral medications for ovulation stimulation and ovulation inducing injections. These medications are prescribed along with ultrasound monitoring in the office. She also offers artificial insemination for infertility patients.
Dr. Catt is board certified and a member of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Association, Illinois State Medical Society and Peoria Medical Society.
Dr. Catt established Affinity Women’s Health Care in December of 2013 initially seeing only obstetric and gynecological patients. In October of 2017, she established Affinity Cosmedic as part of the practice that focuses on aesthetic services. They offer Botox injections, Facial Fillers, Laser hair removal, laser skin treatments, body sculpting with SculpSure, Diamond Glow Facials, SkinPen, custom facials and massages.

Heather Porto, CNM
Heather received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Emory University in 2005 and began her medical career in 2003 as a Staff Nurse in Mother/Baby followed by Labor & Delivery at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. Here, Heather provided bedside care to antepartum, peripartum and recovering postpartum women and infants triaged early labor and outpatient emergent visits, as well as perioperative and intraoperative care for emergent, urgent and scheduled c-sections.
After serving in numerous midwife capacities for the US Army, Heather became a Staff Nurse Midwife in a large OBGYN practice caring exclusively for women serving in the military as well as dependent spouses and daughters at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, VA in 2016. She still serves as the clinical nurse officer in charge for a large field hospital based at Fort Meade, MD.
Heather has been an Army Major since October, 2019 and joined Affinity Women’s Health Care in February, 2021.
Amy Pheiffer, APN
Amy Pheiffer received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Methodist College of Nursing in 2009 and started working as a Registered Nurse on the Postpartum and Level 2 Nursery at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. During her 8 years as an RN, Amy went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2015, specializing in women’s health care. She is passionate about providing holistic and compassionate care to women throughout the lifespan.
Amy has been practicing as an APN in the Peoria area since 2015 and joined Affinity Women’s Health Care in January, 2023.
Shannon Graves, APN
Shannon graduated from Georgetown University in 2020 with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She is a board certified women's health nurse practitioner. Shannon began her nursing career in 2015 after graduating with her Bachelor's degree, when she then went on to work in the Intensive Care Unit. Her passion is education and preventative care. Her hope is to provide clients with the knowledge to better their health and overall well-being. She has spent the last several years working in high-risk obstetrics and gynecology. She particularly enjoys providing preconception counseling and early pregnancy education so that families can feel empowered to have a healthy pregnancy.
In her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and friends. You can often find her on a walk with her dog, cozied up with a good book, or trying out a new recipe.
Jennifer Scoby, PMH-NP
Jennifer received her master’s degree from Bradley University and went on to Methodist College of Nursing
where she earned her BSN degree. In 2022, Jennifer received her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric/Mental Health
Nursing from Illinois Mennonite College of Nursing. She is currently a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric
Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and trained as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Jennifer joins Affinity Women’s Health Care
with five years’ experience working in women’s health.
